Free Healthcare Power of Attorney and Living Will Workshop

Join us for a 30-minute workshop that will provide you with all the necessary documents, notaries, and witnesses to finalize important paperwork. Thanks to Alamance ElderCare, Cone Health, Carolina Aging Alliance, and Triad Healthcare Network, you can attend this FREEworkshop to create essential documents and get your paperwork in order.


In North Carolina, standard healthcare power of attorney documents are available online for free. All you need is your signature, a notary, and witnesses to protect yourself and your loved ones and ensure you receive the care you want and need.

Pizza and Movie Night with Carolina Aging Alliance

Come join us at Senior Resources of Guilford for pizza while watching the movie Oppenheimer, the Oscar-winning 2023 film about American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb during World War II.


Every second Tuesday of the month we offer alternating events of food and games, and food and movies. Don't miss out – come and join us!

In this satirical take on Westerns, crafty railroad worker Bart (Cleavon Little) becomes the first black sheriff of Rock Ridge, a frontier town about to be destroyed in order to make way for a new railroad. Initially, the people of Rock Ridge harbor a racial bias toward their new leader. However, they warm to him after realizing that Bart and his perpetually drunk gunfighter friend (Gene Wilder) are the only defense against a wave of thugs sent to rid the town of its population.

Ready for a lively dose of nature and vibrant vibes? Join Carolina Aging Alliance and take a leisurely stroll along the 2.5-mile path while chit-chatting with your charming neighbors.


To find us, enter through the New Garden Road entrance. If the parking lot is packed, just follow the road and park in one of the other auxiliary lots or across the street. Meet up with us at the Visitor Center, and let's saunter through the park together.


After the walk, join us for coffee at Green Joe's, located at 2915 Battleground Ave in Greensboro. It's time to lace up your walking shoes and join the fun!

Caregiver Support Group

Sundays, March 3 and 17 from 5 to 6 PM

Meetings are open to anyone who is a personal or professional caregiver. Carolina Aging Alliance is offering this group to provide a non-judgmental framework for caregivers to find understanding and support. The group will provide, in an informal setting, a safe place to give voice to stressful experiences, successes, strong feelings, personal frustrations, and to explore options and solutions. All sessions will be self-led without a facilitator.
